The workflow

Built around the moment work changes direction.

Competitors optimize reports after time has already gone missing. KRONTRAK protects the switch itself, where the most useful context still exists.

1

Press the next task.

Start or switch without opening a timesheet or reconstructing what just happened.

2

Capture the why.

Add a segment label or quick note while the interruption, handoff, or decision is fresh.

3

Keep working.

Browser controls, keyboard shortcuts, and companion inputs keep logging close to the work.

4

Review the real day.

See sessions, segments, notes, and calendar patterns before memory rewrites the record.

The difference

A better answer than timers or surveillance.

Automatic trackers promise effortlessness. Manual timers promise control. KRONTRAK is built for the middle path: intentional capture that produces a useful record.

Manual timesheets

Easy to forget, hard to trust, and usually filled in after the story is already gone.

  • Context is separated from time.
  • Switches become guesswork.
  • Managers chase incomplete data.

Passive trackers

Convenient, but often built on app, website, idle, or activity capture that workers do not want.

  • Background data needs explanation.
  • Trust has to be repaired later.
  • Activity still does not explain intent.

Product surface

A work log that explains the day as it happens.

KRONTRAK is not just a stopwatch. It is a structured work log for people who need their day to remain explainable without extra administration.

Start and switch controls

Permanent task categories make switching quick, idempotent, and visible.

Fast capture

Segments and notes

Capture call titles, handoffs, interruptions, and decisions inside the session where they belong.

Context beside time

Today timeline

Review the exact order of work blocks, edit what needs correction, and keep the record honest.

Real day review

Calendar and analytics

Move from minute-by-minute detail to week-level patterns without losing the trail.

Patterns you can use

Control inputs

Browser buttons, keyboard shortcuts, macro pads, and companion controls share the same command layer.

One model everywhere

Exports and data control

CSV and JSON export paths keep the work record portable as KRONTRAK grows from local-first to hosted.

User-owned history

Trust by design

Not employee monitoring in a nicer outfit.

KRONTRAK is designed around user agency. It records what a person intentionally starts, labels, and reviews. The sensitive "why" is private by default and shared only by clear choice.

Questions

What beta visitors need to know.

Enough clarity to know whether KRONTRAK belongs in your workflow, without pretending the beta is already broadly open.

Can I create an account today?

Not publicly. Sign up currently means requesting a beta invite. Approved users will get the login path when their workspace is ready.

Is KRONTRAK automatic time tracking?

No. KRONTRAK is intentionally user-triggered so every entry has consent and context from the person doing the work.

Will it support teams?

Yes, with opt-in aggregate visibility and private notes by default. The worker can see what is shared about them.

What makes it different?

The switch itself is the product moment. KRONTRAK records why the day changed, not just how many minutes landed in a category.
